Lit Circles
My first book choice would be Thirteen Reasons Why. It really caught my attention because it seems really intense and thrilling.
My second book choice would be The Glass Castle, because I love reading books that are about dealing with life struggles, and how the character handles them.

Young Norma Jeane
Norma Jeane
Mortenson, mainly known as Marilyn Monroe, lived a tragic and unfortunate
childhood. She was born on June 1, 1926 in Los Angeles, California.
At the age of seven Norma Jeane began to be placed in several foster homes and Orphanages due to her mother's
severe mental condition, paranoid schizophrenia. She lacked of stability while she was growing up, as a result she began to suffer from depression and developed a fear abandonment.
To avoid an orphanage or a new foster home, Norma married in June of 1942 to her boyfriend, James Dougherty, since her foster parents had to move from California and were no longer going to care for her. James and Norma than divorced in the year of 1946, due to her ambitions of becoming famous, after modeling for numerous magazine covers. That same year she set herself on a path to hope for a better future; to become an actress.

Life - I am of both your directions Existing more with the cold frost Strong as a cobweb in the wind Hanging downward the most Somehow remaining Those beaded rays have the colors I've seen in paintings - ah life they have cheated you... thinner than a cobweb's thread sheerer than any- but it did attach itself and held fast in strong winds and sindged by leaping hot fires life - of which at singular times I am of both your directions - somehow I remain hanging downward the most as both of your directions pull me. -Marilyn Monroe |
"I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go. Things go wrong so that you can appreciate them when they're right. You believe lies so that you will eventually trust no one but yourself. And sometimes, good things fall apart so better things can fall together." -Marilyn Monroe
